One of my mentors once told me that if your photographs are appealing to everyone then you're doing something WRONG...Previously I'd spent hours and hours of time trying to figure out what would make my photography more commercial and appealing to the masses and I have concluded that my mentor is right. Now I've developed a style that I truly like and don't give a rat's ass what anyone else thinks. My mentor also taught me that 40% of the people will love you...40% will hate you and 20% could care less about you.
